WHICH DRAWINGS DO YOU SEE AS PIECES OF VISUAL NOTATION?
I think most of my rough drawings can be viewed as pieces of visual notation. Along with the photographs, it captures a more holistic representation of an event/ place. I think the more detailed sketches provides a clearer reference to use for future illustrations. The drawings often captures the atmosphere of a place better than a photograph.
WHICH DRAWINGS DO YOU SEE AS POSSIBLE PIECES OF REPORTAGE AS THEY ALREADY EXIST?
I don’t see any of the rough drawings from the sketchbook & photographic journey to the Hotel Beachfront as possible pieces of reportage as they already exist. I do however think some of my drawings from my previous sketchbook -& photographic journey to the Hydro Spa, could be seen as possible pieces of reportage as they already exist. It is not really allowed to take photographs within the Hydro Spa area, therefore Reportage Illustration is a great way to document the event/ place.
WHICH DRAWINGS WOULD YOU LIKE TO BUILD UPON FURTHER, IN YOUR STUDIO?
I would definitely like to work on the following drawings at home to see if they can be developed further:
I think it would be fun to use the SCAMPER strategy to experiment with different ideas to develop these images further.
