I was inspired by these 2 artists that I found on Instagram. They combine miniature people and other objects to create visual art.

DINOSAURS:
Instead of using miniature people, I thought it would be fun to use small dinosaurs.
I decided to spray paint the dinosaurs silver to create a more striking affect. I thought of different scenes I could set up using these small dinosaurs.
I decided on creating scenes using props:
– Birthday – presents
– Christmas – presents
– Carnival – big wheel
– Cycling – tricycle
– Home – house
– Beach – umbrella’s
I used green plants as a base to arrange the dinosaurs on. I then changed the different props to take pictures.
After printing out the pictures, I added different backgrounds or detail, using collage and doodles.
I decided to add some words/ phrases:
– Happy Birthday!
– Roar!
– You are roar-some!
– You are totally Dino-mite!
– Welcome to the prehistoric age. Happy Birthday!
– I give you my whole heart
– Love grows here
– Just married
– Party Time
– Happy Friends
– Surf’s up
– Merry Christmas!
I also made a dinosaur Foldy mini-book for fun 🙂
REFLECTION:
I enjoyed creating these pictures using photographs of arranged objects. I loved the combination of space/ stars backgrounds with the dinosaurs and I think I could have extended that theme.
